We're on a mission to compile the most complete list of slide guitar teachers on the Web. Teachers are the foundation that makes this hobby grow!

First, get our Slide Guitar Basics book, then get a teacher!
PLEASE NOTE: We do not make any warranties, guarantees or recommendations for any teacher listed in this directory. The use of this directory is at your own discretion.

Please direct all questions regarding rates, payment policies, refunds, teaching qualifications, teaching style and other considerations directly to the teacher.

We strongly suggest that you ask teachers for local recommendations, research local reviews and conduct whatever background research that you need to satsify your concerns.
We rely on the teachers own input regarding their style, years teaching, policies or any other data provided.

Also, please check back here often for new entries. We plan to grow this list rapidly. To stay on top of all new listings, please subscribe to our newsletter.

Here is the criteria we use to be considered for our Slide Guitar Teachers list!

Please understand that to keep this list concise and valid, we want to list ONLY PROFESSIONAL SLIDE GUITAR TEACHERS here. Therefore, the requirements here are somewhat strict.

1) To distinguish professionals from casual teachers, each teacher MUST have their own website domain, as in http://teacher-name-guitar-lessons.com or similar. Facebook and other social media pages WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED as "home pages". Because, well, they're not substitutes for a professional website. We've taught for 20 years. We know the difference.

2) The teacher's website must mention slide guitar cirriculum as an essential and integral part of your skills offering. If yours does not yet mention slide guitar, or does so only very casually, then please make a site update before submitting for inclusion here. We are only looking for teachers who put a real FOCUS on slide guitar. So it must be prominent on your website.

3) The teacher's website must be professionally presented. We will expect to find contact information, a teacher bio, teaching location, teaching policies, hours of operation, payment policies (rates are not required), your teaching approach, your prefferred student profile, teaching focus and more. In other words, it must be a complete, professionally presented website that proves to us and our readers that you are actively in the business of teaching slide guitar.

4) We are not offering to link to your social media pages in any way, including your description. Please do that from your own website.

5) We will require an email address so that we can contact you privately and directly. It will not be included in your listing here.
Email addresses will NEVER be posted on this website!

6) A valid link to a publicity photo or logo image that is posted on your website is required. We cannot offer to download and post your image on our servers and link to it on your behalf. Again, a professional presence is required here.

7) We reserve the right to list or de-list any teacher for any reason. While this directory is currently free, we reserve the right to set placement priority at our discretion.

8) We will accept appeals if a teacher is denied after the initial review. Make your case.
